Silvia & Alex where can I start. This amazing couple planned their wedding in 3 weeks after decided they could not wait a second longer to be married. They chose the incredible, small, friendly, quirky village of Kaapsehoop as the perfect backdrop for their day.
The day of the wedding was so relaxing with “stoep” chit chats and lots of laughs with regular weather checks as a thunderstorm threatened their outdoor ceremony plans.
Alex and Silvia shared their first look while their family cheered them on in the background – Alex was literally speechless <3
Their ceremony was at the end of the last road in the village amongst wild daisy’s with the forest in the background. A massive storm circled all around us but by some miracle only a few drops came down after the ceremony ended.
While the family headed back to the guesthouse to get into some cozier clothes we headed off for a quick couple shoot.
Silvia and Alex shared their first meal together with their family in a very intimate and casual setting at the guesthouse. It was an incredible honor to witness their family bond. It is unlike any other I have had the privilege to capture. So much love and respect. It was lovely to see how they all speak so openly and honestly with each other and speak into each others lives.
They ended off their wedding day by playing pool at the local pub
…. but it doesn’t end there
The following morning we woke up early and hiked to a waterfall for some more couple photos.
